I just read it. It is six internet pages long. There was not one mention about the Dolphins. Seriously. Look, I'm not expecting a big passage about how awesome we are or anything, but really? We get a huge road win, and he says nothing about it. All he mentioned about the game, was in the last section (Things I didn't like) when he says that we (the public) may have anointed Jay Cutler too soon and that the Broncos rushing offense was pathetic. Also, in the fine fifteen section (basically the power rankings) he has the Pats 7th (wow, can't justify that at all) and has the Bills and Jets tied at 15th. The Bills? They have lost 4 of their last 5, the last 2 of which were huge division games they couldn't afford to lose. Just ask Bills fans if they believe they should be in the fine fifteen. They would say no way in hell!

Okay, I usually don't vent, and I usually don't read Peter King. I just thought this needed mentioning.
 
Nothing against Peter King but he's the one that said last night the Detriot Lions have a lot of Cap room and they will be in line to offer Matt Cassell 8 million per year.
 
completely agree with you, great post. Was seriously considering writing to him this week which i've never dreamt of doing before. He went on and on and on about the falcons beating the raiders which he seemed to think was some huge accomplishment, i could get on the phone and call ten friends and we would give oakland a decent game right now. Yet we're a team coming off a 1 and 15 season and we go into denver against one of the most highly rated young qb's in the game and put on a great performance and get another great win holding them to 14 yards on the floor and getting three picks and the only thing he can write is 'nice hands will allen' thats it! . I dont expect people to go crazy for us but peter wrote six pages yesterday about two of which seemed to be about the falcons against the raiders when i think we our one of the great success stories of this season. I do like peter king but he's so in love with matt ryan at the moment nothing else matters.
 
Agree - thought the same exact thing as I was reading. He does mention the Phins when he notes "Nice hands Will Allen" on the last page. That's it though.
 
I was disappointed as well in reading the article. I thought there would be more mention of the Dolphins. But just like ESPN, the writers at SI have little interest in the Dolphins. If they keep winning they will be forced to talk about them, and it will be awesome.

Peter King did mention a Dolphins player in the article though. Under the "10 things he thinks he thinks."

Haha! Read it this morning and thought the same thing...
 
His analysis is crap...Always has been crap, always will be crap...

he mentioned Will Allens INT (All King said was good hands will allen) and said something about Denvers offense only gaining 14 rush yards against Miami defense... Although King DID mention the Dolphins, he's still a schmuck, and will always be a schmuck.. Even if he labels Miami the best team in the league, King is still a schmuck

the bills are 5-3, not 5-4.

Miami is still only 4-4, and still last in our division.

Until we're not, we won't get respect.
 
It's like some people are only fans so that other people can talk about your team. There are more things more exhilarating than being complimented.

Ok. In two weeks we will be 6-4 after beating 2 DOORMATS down at home and hosting New England in a battle for FIRST PLACE in the division. :woot:
 
The respect will come when we win the next two games and then slaughter the patsies with Jpeasy making Matt Light look like a dumb *** again.
