Peter King Talked to Flynn

He makes a direct comparison between the organizations and his reasoning for choosing Sea and some of you still refuse to believe anything is wrong.

The people who are against "whining" are glorified homers. Wouldn't call the FO out if it came out and slapped them in the face.

They better sign Smith cause Gerrard is a 34 yr old backup. He will get booed if made the starter. Smith is still an upgrade over Moore. owever if they dont sign Smith then Moore is your starter with only and I say only one year left on his contract. Dolphins will be under enormous franchise risk going into the next year with a starter in his last year of the contract.

So if we dont get Smith, GM now has to draft a QB in first or second round to be ready to start in year 2. GM is playing with his job if he does not get a QB AND IT BETTER NOT BE GERRARD. Now in hindsight he should see his mistake of not grabbing a QB in the draft last year. First rule of good GM is get a number 1 QB. We started FA with knowing that and we wasted a whole week chasing Manning when anyone owner or GM in their right mind can see he did not want to step into our facilities. Are you kidding Me? IF GM does not wake up then next year get someone smart from the Green Bay organization philbin can work with. Should have went after Flynn from the first second of FA.

It was all about money, seattle paid more than miami was willing to...don't blow it out of proportion

true cause paying that money to our possible safety is much more important than qb. I mean you put Marhsall and Hicks money together and its quite enough.
i dont think it was money to be truthful

Except that Caroll is a coach and Ireland is a GM. Our coach (Philbin) has the most in depth knowledge of Flynn and obviously they didn't go all out for Flynn. That should concern the Seahawks fans

Wow you can't wait to jump on someone can you? Pete Carroll is the decision maker in Seattle, maybe you should know what you are talking about before you try to make someone look like they don't know what they are talking about. They also made Flynn an offer near that of Seattle reportedly, which I doubt they would have done considering Salary Cap restraints they are under if they didn't think he was good.

I don't think there's any question that Ireland is the BIGGEST problem. Ross is just clueless and goes along with what Ireland says, which is dangerous. It's crippling our team.

We may as well move our games to some High School stadium because we'll only have about 500 fans show up at home games. At this rate they probably won't even be able to give Dolphins tickets away.

Crippled. We get nothing but a continuous stream of warning signs, but some still don't want to believe there's a problem with our organizational structure. Then when the season comes they're going to be blinking their eyes in bewilderment wondering why we're not title contenders.

Doubt we'll ever know exactly how much less was offered. I'm sure money was the deciding factor (even with Florida having no state income tax). However, look at the other factors - they have a great stadium, fans and their facilities are top notch. Player's coach with a well respected gm, the richest owner in the NFL. They have great young receivers and a stud in Sydney Rice.

We on the other hand - just dumped our #1 receiver last week. That along with all the recent rejections and negatives about Ross/Ireland floating around. It's sad to say but with even money, I'm not picking Miami right now.

Let's stop making excuses, our organization is a cluster**** right now. Hopefully with Philbin we're headed in the right direction, we can create that type of environment players want to come to.

This is getting really frustrating. Nobody WANTS to come to Mia anymore. Peyton thought so little of our team that he did not meet with us in Mia where he owns a house. We have to send Philbin to Indy to meet him.

We need to sign Matt Moore to an extension now, because he is a damn good back up and we will lose him next year if he puts up decent numbers again. Fall back in the draft this year and pick up extra picks for 2013. Draft a QB this year to groom, and keep Devlin another year. NO to Smith, let's give Philbin a waiver this year, load up for the 2013 draft and go balls to the wall from there.

You can have 100 nfl players say the same thing and the apologists will still twist it to fit their sunshiner agenda. What I find funny though, pretty much to a man, minus a select few of actual independent thinkers, the apologists are the same exact people who were anti suck for luck.

Well on one side you have Pete Caroll (rah rah guy, always positive, and he is their final decision maker)...

On our side we have Ireland (as GM, he is just bad at his job).

Yep Ireland's a crap GM period

Yeah. The doom and gloomers actually were more annoying at first but as more and more negative things come out, the blind apologists are actually becoming more annoying. There is no objective thought there
