It is nice to see Miami being able to pick up a few props after the early disaster of a season. Now if they can only keep this up through December. I would love to have the same December record as last year!!

That sure would be awesome! This is a great article by Peter King and I advise any football fan to read it.

and 5 weeks ago I remember so many so called fans saying we were the worse team in the league and we are only winning 1 game all year. Sad thing is they were serious! I knew better even when we were 1-6 I saw lots of promise in this team!

He really summarizes my thoughts on The Thanksgiving game:

"I think there are bush-league things that happen in this league, and then there's what happened at Ford Field on Thanksgiving with former Lions quarterback Joey Harrington. The Miami defense was introduced before the game to the tune of "Piano Man,'' a snide reminder of Harrington's skill at playing the piano. Then, after the final Miami defender got introduced, the PA man introduced Harrington -- to tremendous boos. You either introduce the defense or the offense, and not both, and when Harrington was introduced, the PA guy was introducing a guy who wasn't there to be introduced. Obviously it was done to whip the home crowd into a frenzy against a guy who tried as hard as he could in his four Detroit years and just failed miserably. What a bullying, crass and bush-league stunt. Stupid, classless, and very, very small."

And now we're seeing all the "I told you so! I KNEW IT!" guys. :rolleyes2

notice that we are the only team under .500 that is listed? and were above 3 teams with better records

That's what I found interesting. I wonder if he really thinks this highly of us, or if he is doing this because he picked us to do so well. Last week he cracked us into the top 15 and said there aren't 15 teams better than the Dolphins right now, and that it was too bad they started the way they did. It really is a shame we couldn't just squeak out two of those games. If the Dolphins were 7-4 right now, there is no doubt in my mind they were destined to go deep into the playoffs. I'm just getting sick of saying what could've been.

miami is playing much better than their record indicates, we are clearly one of the hottest teams in the nfl right now and our winning streak contains quality wins....we are still very much in the playoff hunt and if the streak continues we will be looking from a 1-6 start to a 6-6 .500 record in a matter of a few short weeks, this is why we watch and this is what we live for!!

Indeed. It's amazing how quite a few people--I can think of two or three names off the top of my head--thought Saban was lying through his teeth every time he said "there are positives to build on."

They're pretty much the same people, first to place the blame... first to take the credit... Hey sounds like my team's high school quarterback...

I know what you mean!

I know how that can be annoying, but when Chambers finally gets it going, I will be the first to bring it up.
