The Fine Fifteen

15. (tie) Miami (8-7). Invisible stat line of the weekend: Ricky Williams, 26 carries, 172 yards.

Coach of the Week

Miami coach Nick Saban. Raise your hands if you thought the Dolphins would enter Week 17 over .500. OK, I see one hand over there in Jupiter, one in Davie, one in South Beach. That's it. The Dolphins are a tough handful for any team right now, which means next opening day, barring some calamity, they're going to be favored to make the playoffs.

He had Miami tied at 15 with Atlanta and Dallas.

seems about right, arguibly the best non-playoff team.

You start winning and people will notice.Everyone here seems to think the media hates us which is stupid...we just haven't won the superbowl in 32 years...that's not the media's fault...is our fault...we win the superbowl and they'll talk good about us.And this is what I think of the media anyway... :monkeyr:

Ozzy rules!!

Miami gettin possitive exposure? Hells frozen over...
Peter King has been a long time supporter of Nick Saban, so it's no shock he'd say something positive about the Phins, though the praise is deserved.
Not long ago, about the time we first hired Saban, King said that Saban was one of the 5 best football coaches on the planet.

I really like Peter King, he's my idol as i wanna be a writter myself. although i beleive this myself, its nice to hear from someone like him

I like Peter King myself, he is honest about the whole league. While he may have his own personal favorite, you wouldn't know it by the way he covers the league. I'll take what he says over any butt monkey on ESPN...including the mole lurking on this borad with a Matt Leinart avatar.

And you're 12, now that we've established the pecking order, "go away kid ya' botha me" W.C. Fields. If you don't like what I have to say then stop reading it. While you're at it, leech on to someone else while trying to act older and smarter then you are.

I thoroughly enjoy reading Peter King ever Monday Morning. I think one of the most impressive things about him is that he lives in Patriots territory, yet manages to write about them without being an annoying homer (like the Sports Guy, for example). And he always has good stuff to say about Nick Saban.

lol, i'm not the one talking about other members of the board when they haven't even posted in the thread. trying to be secretive about it is even funnier

if i'm 12 and i know more about football than a 39 year old, then you're in a sad state my friend

Peter King has warmed up to the Phins since Saban took over, since hes an old Bellicheck cronie. And we all know that King loves two things 1) Brett Favre and 2) anything remotely related to New England Sports.
