Peterson or Clements?

For the sake of discussion, let's assume that both players will be available in free agency and that we will have the money to get one, but not the other. Do you have strong feelings one way or the other, or is there a better deal elsewhere?

id take clements he may not be having his best year but he is a top5 corner and crowder and pope have been doing nicely and with zach a possible rookie and JT playin some LB its not as important as CB madison is not waht he used to be and adding clements would be huge for our secondary with poole and mitchell coming back next yr we would have a solid group of young CBs

Clements hands down. Peterson is great but is always injured. Clements is an top corner and is only 26. He would be an upgrade over all of our current cb's and would be greatly welcomed by me.

well yeah i just ment it was sorta like getting 2 new players ....and id still like to keep madison around hes not as horrible as some people belive he could still be a great value to this team as a teacher to the 3young guys

Peterson is such a sav but I will always take an upgrade in the secondary when it's as bad as ours. Peterson doesn't upgrade our LBing core as much as Clements would upgrade our secondary...our secondary would have good depth too with Madison (maybe) Poole Daniels and maybe Jackson. I really trust Poole or Daniels at the nickle spot more than Howard.

I agree, him and Schulters will both be great teaches to the young ones.

what if Daniels makes the move to safety? Will he make the move, and if so, will it be next year (especially if we get Clements)?

Clements.....we are in dier need of a good CB....

Sam Madison is not what he use to be and Reggie Howard never was what he was suppose to be....

fellas, we may have gone from having the best CB tandem in the league to not having a CB at all!!!!

Want both, as everyone will probably say. But would take Clements over Peterson. Think better OLBs than CBs can be found in next years draft, especially in 1rst round if we can't get a QB or NT.
