Luke Petitgout has been suspended 4 games by the nfl. The speculation is for a steroid violation since he hasn't been under the NFL's substance abuse before.

Guess there's at least 1 reason he was released.

Yep, he couldn't pass a physical, and was recovering the wrong way. There's almost always a seedy backstory when a player gets cut for obvious non-performance issues nowadays.
