While I applaud community concern and fan pride, firing a gm weeks before the draft would be about the most irrational thing an owner could do. Given the duties that have to be performed between now and the end of the season, I think it is too late to do anything this year any way. I am as tired of the incompetence as anyone. But there is a time and place for all action. I have been a fan for 40 years and felt the same way you do about Wanny just a few years ago. And I am glad he is gone. But I am willing to observe this season because as bad as it has been in the off season (perceived that is) I have some hope with Philbin.
