What else can the Dolphins do????? Will Peyton bankrupt the Dolphin salary cap??

Extend and restructure Bell in order to sign Reggie Nelson??

What about Nickel CB?? Nickel CB is a huge position in today's NFL, especially against Brady twice or more a year??

What about pass rushers?? And I mean rushers, not rusher.

What about OL??

Is this the right recieving corps??

What about TE??

Is Clay still adequate at FB??

Keep Hilliard? What about Slaton??

Don't worry, a top 5 QB makes everyone around him better!

Here is my take if we sign Manning and Wayne.. We hope to god someone slips to 8 in the draft and a team is willing to trade up. We then put ourselves in position to draft either DeCastro, Luke K, or Nick Perry in the first and hope to pull off a way to get Fleener early in the second. If we can hit on two bonafied starters with our first two picks we will be in good shape I believe.

If they sign Manning I'm sure the front office will get some players to restructure their contracts. I see miami addressing the rest of their needs through the draft if they land Peyton.

Yep, this EXACTLY!!!!

Some of you really kill me. You gripe and whine because we don't win, then when there is a situation that could instantly turn us into contenders, you gripe and whine....for whatever reason I don't even understand.

IF we land Manning (I'm not so optimistic myself) the entire team just got MUCH MUCH better. Amazing how a guy like this turns pedestrian players into all-pro's.

Ya, that sounds nice but most teams end up starting one draft pick, maybe two. It isn't anywhere close to reality.

I don't care what else happens as long as we sign Manning!!! Please make it happen ASAP! I'm sick of hearing 49er, Chief, Redskins, etc saying he's going to land there. Pay any and all cost to get him in South Beach, please!!!

The Colts won one solo Super Bowl all those years with Manning in his prime. We have to be a better TEAM than those teams.

Who says we arent already. Hell, our defense is EASILY better than any the Colts ran out there during their success. Go look at the WR's that Manning was constantly being re-assigned each year. The offensive line was solid for about 3 years, then fell apart.

If you are so sour on one of the very best QB's to ever play the game to come in, you have a better plan instead?

Plenty of teams get lots of contributions from their draft picks. The Dolphins already have a good amount of veteran players on the roster; if they get Peyton they won't need to bring in a big name free agent unless they have a chance to land a quality safety in FA since this year's draft class is weak at that position. Your first rounder (a DE/OL) would definitely be a starter and if the phins get a WR or TE in the later rounds they'd probably see a lot playing time. They could also pick up some more pass-rushers or linebackers later in the draft who could be used as rotational players.

Hopefully we have enough left for Reggie Wayne and say Reggie Nelson, but I'd assume most of our building will come from the draft. #8 isn't a good spot for us based on need, so moving down and acquiring an additional second round pick would help us potentially add 3-4 solid contributors in the first two or three rounds.

If Ireland can't draft two players who are gonna start in some capacity or at least get a starters number of snaps the man should be fired.

Did you really say keep Hilliard? Oh god no, he sucks. His "skills" on ST's can be replaced.
