Peyton Manning sits atop Miami Dolphins’ quarterback wish list

Phinatic and a few others are one of the main reasons I keep coming back to finheaven. Yes the mods put in some hard work but let's be real we come for the news and romurs and it's because of Phinatic and other posters like him is what makes this site as good as it is

I couldn't agree more.

If, and that is a big if, Manning passes the physical and looks like he can play at 95-100%, you HAVE to try to get him... Can you imagine what he could do with Brandon Marshall and Devon Bess?

However, I think it's foolish to trust anything that comes out in the press. ... The day before Philbin was hired, 90% of this board (including me) was certain that Miami was hiring in McCoy. Mostly due to reports from the prognosticating press and those citing "sources within the organization".

The source(s) in the Manning report(s) could be wrong. Or, this could just be disinformation put out by the organization to obfuscate the team's actual intent. No one actually knows Peyton Manning's true condition other than Peyton himself, nor does anyone know his true intent. It's possible, no matter how unlikely, he is actually in better condition than he is letting on. He may just want out of Indy.

I guess you don't get sarcasm, i even added a couple laughing smileys to help you out.

Also thanks for the high praise.

Then I'll apologize. it came across not sarcastic at all. A lot of poster jump all over guys like Phinatic, enduro and others. Personally I like all the crazy scenarios and romurs it makes the offseason more interesting

The timing of the whole Manning thing is not good. The Colts do not have to make a decision on what to do with him until March 8th. Free agency starts on March 3rd and Flynn will probably be gone before we know anything on the Colts decision. Ross/Ireland better know what they are doing.
Actually the signing period begins March 13th at 4:00 pm

Finnatic how about you create a thread like this when it actually happens? Not just rumors and gossip. This isn't a gossip forum.

You did the same thing with Mike McCoy last week, saying he was already hired and our next head coach. And the same thing with OJ Atogwe and Vince Young and blah blah blah.

Chill on it until its officially true.

I see nothing wrong with this thread. It's all going to be rumors and speculation until FA starts in March. The board would be quiet as a mouse if posts like these weren't created

would like to see us grab Blackmon if we could or Floyd. Try to work Bess into a Wes Welker type receiver. Can you just imagine that tandem?? With Clay and Fleener and Bush???

Thats one scary offense with the right QB

I really think this is a smokescreen to try and drive Flynn's price down. Philbin is a detailed, thorough guy...he does not seem like the "quick-fix" type coach. He will try to build a winner with a future, and I believe his plan starts with Flynn.
