Peyton Manning throwing like a "late career Chad Pennington"

First; Manning is throwing like CP now, with the possibility of improvement, potentially dramatic.
That's good.
Second; Manning never had a noodle arm, and it will be a transition for him to recognize whether or not he can make a throw.
That's not great.

I think if he is willing to come cheap+incentives Miami should go for it. If he wants guaranteed $12mm then I might pass.

If he plays like a late career Chad Pennington, then we shall do well. Possibly go all the way this time, being that he will be surrounded by better players than Pennington was.

Even having Penny in your name with the MIA greats goes to show the silliness in your infatuation with a sub par QB who folded against elite defenses.

Manning if limited like Penny, wouldn't play IMO. Why would a great with a 'noodle' arm care to demean his legacy going into a season less than 100%?

We went 10-6 with Noodle-arm

Won 7 games by 7 pts or less to teams that were .500 or worse. Penny also was the leader of a offense that HAD to implement the WildCat, because it was stagnant. Oh yea, it was the 23rd RANKED OFFENSE.

Noodle Arm isn't something a fanbase or ownership should ever want for their franchise. Ever.

Same reason Montana went to the chiefs, Favre went - well, everywhere, Emmit went to the cards

It's the fever for the game - it's not about money - it's about the game.

Noodle arm was are best quarterback in a decade.........

Lol IMO Pennington did an amazing job taking that team to that record. I don't care how many games they won against sub .500 teams.....winning 10 games in the nfl is difficult. Example Packers losing to chiefs and Giants losing to Skins last year. Pennington did more with a crappy offense and horrible game plan because of his ability to make smart plays. He can't be blamed because they lost to the Ravens in the playoffs. Get your opinions straight!

I dont think any Manning supporters are saying for sure he will ever regain full form. The fact that he even has a Pennington like arm at this point sounds encouraging, according to how all the doubters say the injury is. Its only Feb., so if he can keep improving is great. Manning at 75% his old arm stregnth is still the best QB we have had since Marino. Peyton, IMO, is smart enough to know what he gots. Everyone understands he is a risk, but the reward is very high. People get too carried away with the future. I want to win a Super Bowl in 2013. Worry about SB 2014 when the time comes.

he is at duke now throwing with his college QB coach and current duke head football coach. also duke has an excellent medical school, i am wondering if he is getting treatment there
