Colts quarterback Peyton Manning has been working out at Duke this week, an athletic department spokesman said Thursday.

The cover was blown earlier Thursday when Matt Skura, a Duke football player, wrote on Twitter that he was "stretching" next to Manning. The post was later taken down.

The connection between Manning and Duke is Blue Devils coach David Cutcliffe. He was an assistant coach at Tennessee when Manning played there. He was head coach at Mississippi when Eli Manning played there.

Manning told The Indianapolis Star's Mike Chappell after the Super Bowl that he might move around the country during his rehabilitation so he can throw to "familiar receivers."

"I want to go home, too," Manning said. "We haven't been to New Orleans yet."

the key point is that duke has an excellent medical facility, hence treatment while working out

oh and duke doesnt have much talent so manning-lite will look like a baller lol

What do you mean "Not much talent"?...They just laid down the smack on UNC at their place. Well, They did need a a little help from a 6th man (Fuzzy Zeller).

Oh wait...are we talking BB or FB...

My man Todd Helton is down there practicing with Manning as well. They were both QBs at Tenn when CutCliffe was there.
