I was disapointed in his comments today. For someone to usually show a lot of class it was very classless to put the blame on his offensive line after the game. He said something like I want to be a good teammate and not call people out but we had a major protection breakdown. Not word for word but real close, I first disagree with what he said he's the one that calls out all the assignments. He got rattled in the first half and never regained his composure. He's a good QB but not on this day. He melted under pressure again and it's becoming very clear that he may not have what it takes to win a big game.

The Postseason Patriots are dead, at least for this season. And Brady isn't quite sure what to do with the playoffs marching on without him.

"It's going to be hard to watch those games," he said. "Can both teams lose?"

but there were protection problems. he was asked what happened and that was it. what the hell is he supposed to say?

Did'nt care much for the way Peyton handled the loss either.Games over, no use to start throwing blame around.Fix it next year, get rid of the guy('s) or what-ever, but no use in blaming your team-mates.Its a team game, and he's finding out what Marino went through all those years. You can be great, but you have to have a full team around you.

what did he expect? that his line would block some of the league's top blitzers and allow him time to throw 20-30 yard passes every down?

Other than the fact that he was completely right, I guess he had no justification.

I agree here. He was just bad the whole 1st Q. Maybe if he hadnt started off so poorly they wouldnt have fallen behind 14-0.

Furthermore he has to expect that when you face a blitzing team like Pitt who has players like Von Oelhoeffen and Hampton and Porter etc that youre going to get hit on ever play. Thats the way Pitt is. Theyre going to hit you in your mouth and play a physical game. I dont know why he's surprised by this. He's the one who calls the audibles at the line and if you see the OL is having trouble keep an extra blocker in.

He was suppose to say I could have played better but I didn't and we lost. We'll be back next year. Now his pro bowl line has to live with those comments for the rest of the offseason.

He wasn't right he calls the assignments. They disquised the blitzes and he didn't see him to give the assignments. They gameplanned better than the Colts. He got rattled and never regained his composure.

yup. plus many teams have gotten smarter in these 2 minute situations where the O needs to go a long way. buffalo did it the fins in the first game they met. they sent the house and gus couldnt do squat. the broncos did it to brady

to me it sounds like he cant fathom the idea that Pitt didnt just rush 3 and let peyton pick them apart and drive down the field

you mean when Gus took the offense down inside Buffalo's 20 and completed a pass to Ronnie that he then fumbled inside the 15??

no. the fins got the ball back after that and i dont think they gained a single yard 'cause the bills blitzed on every down and sacked gus a couple times

he could say whatever he wants but the bottom line is that the colts had a golden oppourtunity at the end of the game not only to tie the game but also win it and they chocked regardless of how the game went.:dolphins: :dolphins: :dolphins:

He should have criticized his o-line in private...you don't air your laundry out for the public to see....not cool Peyton.
