Miami Dolphins

–QB Ryan Tannehill looked sharp for the second straight week (+0.9), consistently moving Dolphins up the field on his three drives. His best throw wasn’t caught, however, as TE Jordan Cameron wasn’t able to haul in this beauty.

–After a strong week run blocking against the Chicago Bears, right guard Billy Turner struggled mightily to a -3.9 grade in the running game. The Dolphins’ guard position continues to be a concern.

–Second-round defensive tackle Jordan Phillips was relatively quiet on his 20 snaps as he finished at -0.3 overall with one hit on the quarterback.

–Ndamukong Suh is already in mid-season form, dominating blockers to the tune of a +2.2 grade on his 31 preseason snaps. He picked up two hurries against the Panthers.

Top grades:

1. DE James Davidson +3.3

2. CB Zackary Bowman +2.8

3. DT Ndamukong Suh +2.1

4. C Mike Pouncey, C Jacques McClendon +1.7

5. S Reshad Jones, DT A.J. Francis +1.6

My recording to re-watch the game did not take, and I did not watch Turner much live. Was he that bad?

First drive he whiffed on like 3 blocks, but he settled in after that.

He's gonna have some growing pains if he's the starter week 1.

I like Zach Bowman. I think he can help throughout the year. I hope he sticks.

Yeah, he or Douglas are gonna have bumps in the road in both's fist year of seeing the NFL field. I think both will be fine and improve game by game under Benton.

Pouncey had a better game. Wonder what Dallas Thomas' grade was.

I'm seriously fed up with this crap after two years of it. That throw was on the money...reminded me of the drop Sims had in the 1st or 2nd game of the season last year. Perfectly thrown deep ball that the receiver fails to haul in. Who gets the blame...Tannehill. These receivers are making too much money not to make plays....especially Cameron who is the highest paid receiver on this team.

Did he really get blame for that throw? I was in chat on Saturday and probably had the earliest feed as I was on local CBS 4 . . . and the first thing I typed was "Great Throw". Nobody knew it was a drop or anything until the play was shown, but the throw was great . . . and I also gave props to Shaq Thompson for tremendous coverage on the play. Still not sure if he deflected it or not but it was a tough play . . . . Cameron needs to come down with that.

I have seen no one blaming Tannehill, other than the stat keeper. I'm positive that PFF gave him a good grade on that play, which is why I like them.

I think he means in general... Anyone putting the blame on Tannehill for that in completion is either named Roy or JUNC...
