What's up with Wheeler being 58th? Anyone know why that is? Is it coaching, scheme, inability of the player to learn the scheme, lack of execution, what is it? btw it's not surprising to see NE's linebackers in the top three, because that's what you see in good organizations. It's not just about luck in the draft.

Ouch! How do they calculate that?

He's awful. It's that simple. Ireland really reached a new level of ineptitude when he signed this guy and managed to bring in such poor depth that nobody could replace him.

He isn't a good player. He had one good year, in a system that fit him well, and unfortunately we bit on the fake, and gave him starter money.

The main issue with him is that he seems incapable of wrapping up when making a tackle. I'd like to see him get benched for one game, and make him work on tackling fundamentals for the whole week, and see if that wakes him up.

Interesting to see Kevin Burnett right behind him. Thought it was a mistake to get rid of him and he was having a better season...

LOL! So Wheeler IS actually an upgrade... Who would've thought...

Terribly misleading thread title...this is PURELY tackling efficiency. It only measures:

Tackling Efficiency = Attempted Tackles / Missed Tackles

Coming in, we knew he was going to miss tackles... has not disappointed.

Not that Wheeler is any good, but this is only one aspect of being an LB.
