Miami Dolphins – Vernon Hargreaves III, CB, Florida

We’ve started to warm up to a number of cornerbacks in the class, but Hargreaves remains the pick for the Dolphins in part because of his skillset that should match up well with the shifty receivers of the division rival New England Patriots. Hargreaves’ 2015 was a step back from his 2014 season that saw him post the top coverage grade in the nation, but his movement skills and scheme versatility make him a good fit for the Miami defense.

Take him in the 1st and a LB or DE in the 2nd

I've had Hargreaves penciled in as the pick for a long time now. It will depend a lot on what San Francisco does ahead of Miami. I think there's a chance Hargreaves will be gone before the Dolphins pick. If he's there Hargreaves would be an excellent choice.

I am concerned about the pass rush. Miami may not be able to match a big contract to Olivier Vernon and Cam Wake is coming off an injury that could negatively impact his speed.

As far as pass rushers go, not sure who the team would be targeting in round 2 or 3. It also opens up the possibility that Miami goes defensive end/pass rusher in the 1st and corner in round 2.
