Frankly I could see letting them both leave and drafting a DT to play with Odrick.

I would like Joseph and a rookie at #19 but, with so much else going on, don't know if this will be possible.

Don't forget that they like AJ Fancis as well. I would be fine with Odrick, FA mid-range Vet, Francis, and a rookie

Antonio Smith! Bring him and Incognito back.

So now we are going to rebuild both the offensive and defensive lines next year ? Good luck with that. I would keep one DT for at least another year , probably Starks , just for consistency.
i thought the D line played well and attribute the decline in run defense to the LB's play specifically Wheeler.

Let Solai test the market.

Try to retain Starks bc he is a beast.

Draft Dominique Easley from Florida in 2nd round

It is what it is. We need 4 on the OL, and 2 DT's, along with a CB and S. I would rather have a Joseph, who can play 3 downs, vs a Soliai who can only play 2, and Stark is gonna cost too much to keep.

AJ was practice squad, and Pats did not want to keep him. I have to go stronger at DT to let the LB's improve to what they have done.

if melton was healthy he'd blow em all away as pass rushers...will say a lot to me if chicago lets him walk though...they have horrid dt play without him...i dont care if they do use their top pick on a dt which seems highly likely...they should pair him with melton (if he's back to full health)

IF Melton can come back to 2012, he is a Manster vs the pass, as well as the run. Joseph is a safer choice but, not as dominating as Melton was.

joseph is what i call buyer beware imo cause of the likely price tag...melton is risky also cause of the knee could lose some of the explosion and lateral burst he had pre injury which was sick

if someone wants to pay starks $9 mil per...well...go with god young man

Joseph will be less than Starks, and more than Soliai, while being a combo of both players. I would go in the $6-7M range on him. More and I look elsewhere.
