I wanted Matt Ryan from seeing him play at BC as an FSU fan but not going to knock the Jake Long pick.

Dude was a beast and a baller. Injuries got him or he was well on his was to a productive career like Ryan.

No we would not have won a SB with Matt Ryan because of the whole team issues that still plague this team. Ryan had much better teams in Atlanta and made one SB and choked in the 2nd half. I still remember a dude named WV on here that wanted to bet me $10,000 that Matt Ryan would win a SB in his career.

I find it funny that they believe Matt Ryan had an elite career with a 93.6 career QB rating, while Tua with a 97.9 and increasing, is not even good enough to be thought of as a quality QB.

The problem with Ryan was he tended to fall apart during playoffs. His callapse during that Patriots SB proved that when they most needed him, he was not much help.

Though I liked Long, his injury isdues were bad later in hus career, and amazingly maybe QB JOE FLACCO might have been a better pick if we could trade down.
