PFF- ReFo: Dolphins @ Raiders, Week 4

no luv from anyone [or even amention] of the best lb talent we have on this team.........., CRIS McCAIN!!

this kid is an obvious star, BIG star in the making and needs to be in the at lineup.

and i do NOT see him as a DE, not for his permanent gig. maybe an appearance there now in then in certain packages, but, he is a olb, through and through and needs to be in the line-up sooner than later.

i think jordan tripp has all the awareness and toughness to be a great mlb. this would make a pretty damn good lb squad.............. .

SLB: mccain

MLB: tripp

WLB: jenkins

Nothing yet to go on with Tripp and McCain. Team is still unsure of McCain's position at LB or DE.

But lacks strength and still has issues getting off blocks.

Jenkins is no longer a reserve LB.

He is playing great football.

I'm just hesitant to say he's been great. Didn't he screw the pooch on a touchdown play last week? But I'll say this, Dannell Ellerbe just became the most obvious cap cut in the history of pro sports.

i cringe saying this but wheelers play hasn't been bad in the spot duty he's gotten to date...yet...he almost drew a defenseless reciever 15 yard penalty on a hit on the fb in the flat...head high the ref started to reach in his pocket even...but then stopped

if you upgrade the mike with a real option you can get by with what we have as outside options...even if nothing projects to be a all pro in those other slots

Yes he was in the wrong, but Willis and Kuechly give up tds sometimes too (no I'm not comparing the players, just using a example).

He has shown instincts, which were needed badly.

As I was saying last night Jenkins has earned a starting spot, and frankly I prefer Trusnik to both Ellerbe and Wheeler

That's just foolish, while Trusnik is stout against runs right at him, and a solid special teamer, he is absolutely horrendous at everything else.

He has no hips and is continuously relieved of his jock strap anytime he has to do work outside of the tackle box...as bad as Wheeler and Ellerbe have been they are still light years ahead of Trusnik.

Our Defense will take a major step forward once Misi comes back and Trusnik can be relegated to a special teamer again

He may be interesting as a DE imo

PFF loves RT.

He was on fire yesterday. Don't care what the numbers were, don't care what his PFF grade is, don't care what the analytics say, outside of one bad pass (Hartline overthrow) he was just ripping laser beams in there. He made some rare throws, man. Sims interception looked to me like Dion should have sat down in the zone. :idk:

Don't care that it was the Raiders. If the QB plays like that, we're gonna win a ****load of football games.

yes he carried the route like man suppose to sit down...ball behind as a result...other than that spot on...overthrow to hartline was just ball out of hand slightly late...placement and accuracy spot damn on...front shoulder for rac opportunities leading guys with the ball etc...spot on

trusnick looks fine straight ahead as a poa play but anything that requires lateral movement...horrid

People say that the throw to Hartline in the seam was his best play of the day, and maybe it was, but the pass that impressed me the most was that one he ripped to Rishard Matthews between three defenders. Good Lord.

We know he can do that, where the hell was it the last three weeks?

:err:

Because the Fins also didn't travel 8 hours to London? 3 days before the game?

Raiders arrived in London a week before the game?

Not sure I get the logic.

...And unlike what was happening with the Raiders, there were quite a few more distractions on the Dolphins side the Dolphins had to actually worry about (continued increasing injuries, Philbin refusing to name starting HC, is Tannehill really a franchise QB, are receivers not as good as we thought...)

right by that zone lb dropping...bullet...there was a bunch of impressive throws yesterday...and we got some instincts as far as knowing when to take off and when to stay in the pocket...like i said best complete game this qbs ever played...bar none...
