PFF: Tannehill's Sacks vs. Dolphins' Blocking Sacks

Well the Earth doesn't revolve around the Sun either - they revolve around a common center of gravity called a "barycenter". Look it up. I suppose you will tell us that the Moon revolves around the Earth too.
Well if there's one thing I know for sure, it's that people should be constantly paranoid about whether others are providing them accurate information, or whether they're attempting to create a cult-like following on the basis of a delusional belief system, even on a message board devoted to the discussion of a pro football team, whose pages could be printed in their entirety and probably fail to garner even a nickel in trade on the open market.

Good job. We can always count on you to warn us of that imminent danger.

So you are basically saying that all Finheaven posters are incapable of watching a game and making proper judgement, and that you are here to provide the necessary tools for Finheaven posters to enlighten themselves and make a proper judgement - you know, because they are too stupid to watch a game and see what's REALLY going on. Sounds like a load of horse**** to me. Get over yourself.

I don't think you have any idea what I'm "basically saying," but your paranoia is showing through once again. :)

i think what's fair to be said is all your early season statistical analysis nonsense threads where you questioned peoples "eye ball test" as not being valid have played out as being just that...per usual...like just about every thread you've ever started...

i don't know what it feels like to be that wrong all the time...it's badge worthy i know that...

Unlike some people, I don't have much of a problem being wrong when it's in the name of the pursuit of the truth, hence the current thread you're posting in, ironically. :)

you're always wrong...always

you shovel nonsense up this boards rear constantly...
And of course you and everyone else have all the freedom in the world to give it as much or as little weight and consideration as you'd like. :)

You certainly don't see me as somehow depriving you of that freedom, do you?

I could've told u the oline was to blame...don't need stats to know that

Come on. This stats actually help. It shows mathematically that we are not all THAT bad offensive line wise. Yeah we can't understand it but, math.
According to those stats we lead league in blocking sacks but are about in the middle of QB sacks. In other words our O-line is terrible

its really not hard to tell its the olines fault when a defender is in tannehills face one second after the ball is snapped. I mean seriously if someone can't tell the oline is mostly to blame then idk what the hell your watching.

all you have to do is watch the games and have common sense
Well presumably everyone here watches the games, yet there's significant disagreement among us about nearly every issue regarding the team.

How do we know who's right and wrong, and who has common sense and who does not, if in fact that's what determines whether one's perceptions are correct?

The problem I see with Ryan Tannehill is essentially the same one that he came out of college with, and has yet to remedy. He leads the league in sacks because he still always looks completely unprepared for pressure. You simply can't always be that unprepared for it. It's why he's never prepared to use his athleticism to react.

This is what I said in a game chat here against Buffalo when he pointed out the blitz around the left edge and then sat there and got eaten up by it. If you're going to point out a blitz, why not make your first order of business running away from it? Doesn't the success of the play depend on that sort of movement by the quarterback first and foremost?

Sure you can make the argument that a blocker should've picked up the blitzer, but that can happen while you're running the opposite direction. Don't make the play depend on it!

And then there's this sort of thing:
