Pff: Why Isn't Ryan Tannehill Getting More Credit?

It's simple he hasn't won playoff games. He has had one injury that cost him long parts of two seasons. His oline has been sub par and injury riddled giving him no consistency. All this lead to his teams remaining middle of the pack. None of this is his fault. He is amog the leagues best when it comes to w-l record as well as qb rating. Get the man a back up and some blocking along with better play calls and he can be elite

Simms has always loved him. But, damned if you do....damned if you don't, when it comes to Tannehill. Hell, I was ready to sit him for the year and just roll with Brock. Shows what I know or how things would go after Ryan came back. Idk, he's got a damn impressive QB rating right now and we're better since he's back. Would love to see him run the table and get us into the dance. He pulls that off, he'll get the recognition.

Amazing what pressure will do, it can turn coal into a diamond. I think Tannehill is feeling the pressure of his replacement maybe being drafted in 2019. I have not been a fan of Tannehill in general, but I will admit that he is playing some awesome ball right now. Let's see how he does on the road.

Around here Tannehill doesn't get any credit because people can't pull their heads out of the past. Everyone thinks if Miami doesn't land the next Marnio they won't ever win another Super Bowl.
Which is ironic because... yeah I'll just shut up now...

I also enjoy the narrative that Tannehill is injury prone and Carson Wentz and Jimmy Garapolo are not.
Which is funny because Tannehill has only been hurt seriously twice. Any other time he plays through it all. Especially given how often he was sacked early on in his career. Matter of fact hasn't Luck missed more games than Tannehill?

Yep but every time I hear a talking head on the radio or podcast it’s Tannehill that gets the injury prone label.

Well, Marino never won us a Super Bowl. In fact, I don't think he had a winning record in the playoffs.
