Why do people want Billick?
He won a super bowl 12 years ago. 12 years! He was supposed to be an offensive genius but he won with defense. And a defense that he inherited to boot. I just don't understand the Billick love around here...

For a multitude of reasons which I will however not get into since I'm about to watch the heat game. But I will leave you with one of the many reasons. In my opinion, he has one of the best eyes for coaching talent. Look at the staff he put together in Baltimore. 7 of his own hiring became head coaches themselves. I think you would be hard pressed to find a head coach that has accumulated coaching talent like he has

I think the probable real story behind this hasn't leaked nationally - that Zimmer turned Miami down. If true, Ross better hope that won't leak next.

Why hire a guy who has the capacity to create a media circus every time he says something, ala Rex Ryan? Especially when you are trying to sell tickets and improve your PR? Zimmer sounds better suited to the back of the house where he can win his fights and keep the shi* in house. Guess we will see.
