PFT: Dolphins books don’t paint a pretty picture

Those books will start turning around once the team starts winning again...

Fans to be blamed in 3...2...1...

:snack:

Which is probably how it should be when youre as bad as we have been for as long as we have been. Thats the best way to motivate improvement in the product.

I am in no way putting the blame on the fans for anything, but it's hard to fault Ross for not wanting to put more of his money in after seeing this.

Remember back in the 90s when Apple was going downhill fast and they brought back Steve Jobs? He put together some better products and the company suddenly was seeing record profits. The same applies to the Dolphins. Can Philbin be our Jobs?

It's business. Years of bad products and management will lead to running at a loss.

Hmmm let's see:

1. Crappy team
2. Crappy stadium in the middle of nowhere
3. Poor fan experience at games

Yeah sounds about right.

I don't see Ross owning this team much longer if he doesn't get the public funding.

He is the business owner. He is taking the risk and the reward. I can fault him... If he didn't want to take the risk, he shouldn't have bought the team in the first place.

As the owner of the stadium, how much does Ross get paid to host superbowls and national championship games? Anyone know?

Ross is a shrewd business man who probably cried poor mouth to the City with low ball numbers.

He would have bailed by now if he did not see a way to profits..

these numbers seem quite cooked. Forbes said they made 15 million profit
last year I definitely don't buy the loss of seventy million crap. But who knows

Bet there are more than one set of "books":JCane305:

here's the guy that did our numbers for the city
