PFT: Farmer or Dawson most likely hire/Bill Kuharich might also join front office

As we currently hear it, the likely hire will be Farmer or Dawson, with either guy hiring former Chiefs executive Bill Kuharich as part of the new-look front office. Former Chiefs G.M. Carl Peterson is advising Dolphins owner Stephen Ross; Peterson’s connection to Kuharich makes Kuharich’s placement in the Miami more likely.

Kuharich is an awesome person to help with the FO. Outstanding. It is a farce he does not have a gig in the league. Nobody should be afraid of him coming in. He was a guy I talked about years ago.

Denny Thum is a fmr KC executive that would be a great executive to blend the business and football side of the organization.

Not at all. If you saw the videos Walrus linked of the candidates, there's a speaking engagement with Dawson there.

I said then and I'll say it again now, I guarantee you he blew Steve Ross away in that interview. He absolutely strikes me as a guy who came in very prepared and was able to speak Steve's language.

Dawson has to pick good players obviously. However, can you imagine his outgoing, articulate and intelligent self compared to the bunkerbound, tight-lipped Jeff Ireland?
