Completely agree. Zimmer would have accepted it by now, this is ****ing ridiculous. I'm tired of this ****. It's like Fisher was the one interviewing Ross. What the **** man, Ross you're a 4 billion dollar man and it's YOUR franchise, not Fisher's. Give the job to someone who WANTS it. Zimmer, go get him now.

I am sick and tired of this guys bull****. And I'm sick and tired of Ross letting that guy hold his franchise hostage like that. FOR ****S SAKE GIVE ZIMMER THE JOB. FISHER AIN'T SHULA, HE AIN'T THAT SPECIAL.

I couldn't have said it better myself!!!!!!! Id rather get a guy who's more familiar with TODAYS brand of football which is PASS first. I think Zimmer knows that given his defense in Cincy was always tough.

honestly dude, stop cry in like a l'il beehaatch and pick a freakin team jackass!! yo Steve, is this how you run you real estate biz? cuz boy, you suck at this.

I like Fisher and would welcome him to Miami but this is beyond ridiculous. I understand him putting together his staff and discussing the best option but it has been a week since he was interviewed in Miami and 4 days since he was interviewed last by the Rams. Make a decision and go with it. Dragging it out because he is torn will only make him second guess himself.

The Dolphins need to continue interviewing unless they already have decided on plan B and are just waiting. If it is plan B, he'll feel nice knowing the Phins were stringing him along until this Head Coach Diva made a decision.

All this "waiting", as annoyed as people profess to be, will be forgotten 10 seconds after he's announced as head coach (assuming that's what happens).

They say good things happen to those who wait. Anyone with any sense knows this is often untrue. But in this case we should all be willing to let this horse chose his own gait if that's what gets him into the barn, so to speak.

We could have hired Mike Mularkey a few days ago, but that would have just wasted the next several years of our lives rather than the last few.

This is his life, and it's his decision. A big one at that. I'm sure 99.99% of what we hear about him flip flopping back and forth is bull sh... Let the guy decide. Let the team look around. We don't need a coach today.

I'm ok if Fisher takes his time deciding. I'd give him until next week before we move on.

To quote Tom Petty:

The waiting is the hardest part!!

remember folks.. that all these reports aren't coming from the man himself. His isn't saying anything. So if you're frustrated, blame the media stoking the fires, saying there are going to be announcements, where there aren't any.

When there is something to say or announce.. there will be an announcement.

we're just getting prodded by bad reporting.

Yes but the delay is indicative of someone who may not be sold on either team.

i think he has something going on behind the scenes! it doesnt take this long to decide. My guess is that he has his eyes on indy. if that falls thru, the other two will be the fall back option

If Fisher jumps to Indy, I think his reputation suffers a huge blow. And IF this is what he is waiting for, whether the position comes open or not, I hope he either goes to Indy or St. Louis, because if he doesn't want Miami, Miami doesn't want him.

Now, if all this Indy stuff is just talk amongst people not in the know and Fisher does want Miami, I for one welcome him with open arms(not that I think this is what he is waiting for):err:

If Fisher doesn't decide today we need to move on. It doesn't take this long to make any decision...this is ridiculous.

Not really. You are suggesting that he is trying to pick between the lesser of two evils, but maybe he actually likes both opportunities.

I like that he is thinking things through and isnt going to take the job just to take the job. Our last 4 coaches of this franchise didnt really have much interest from other teams (maybe Saban did) and they seemed happy just to have a coaching job anywhere. I'm glad Fisher is taking his time.
