I know you guys don't like PFT much, but they have a write up on R Brown's agent T. France and how he is really stalling and might be in over his head.

Case in point -- Todd France is a relative newbie who got his hooks into three first-rounders this year. And we're hearing that France is foot-dragging with his two top-ten clients because he's a-scared that the contracts he negotiates won't compare favorably to the guys taken directly before and after his clients.

France represents Miami running back Ronnie Brown, the No. 2 overall pick. Per a league source with knowledge of but no involvement in the discussions between the Fins and Brown and the Browns and No. 3 pick Braylon Edwards, France won't do a deal for Brown until the Browns sign Edwards, because France fears that Edwards will get a better deal from the Browns than Brown will get from the Fins.

I can believe it.Thats why I think its a ridiculous system.

It all depends on the weakest links. The weakest GM.the weakest agents etc....

France is a pu$$y... He needs to grab his sack already and get this done...

Nasty

well hes got thomas davis signed... dont know why hes holding up ronnie and carlos rogers

PFT has been kissing the Phins' butt lately. I'm not sure why. Florio has taken NUMEROUS jabs at Nick Saban's dictator-like qualities before.

Then, all the sudden yesterday he posts a one-liner without a story link that says he's starting to think Nick will have a lombardi trophy within three years, then he has three straight stories that show the Phins in a favorable light (1. Frerotte will start for now though Feeley could grow into the role, 2. Dolphins shopping Lamar Gordon but will probably demand high price with Ricky's suspension and Ronnie not in camp yet, 3. Todd France doesn't know what the heck he's doing because he won't negotiate Brown's contract until the Browns sign Edwards.)

Kudos to Florio though, his opinions on the phins and mine are pretty much square with each other right now, which I can't say I've ever seen before.

Wow!! That just makes me sick to my stomach. Look Ronnie should be paid fairly. But if this agent is in way over his head and thats the reason for the hold up, he needs to be fired.

While it's PFT, this throught has crossed my mind as well. He seems like a procrastinator because I recall early an article where he quoted that he hadn't begun discussing any parameters as "there's a long time before we have to worry about that".

IMO he shouldnt need to know what braylon is getting unless that brown agreed to the less money, and france is trying to get his client more for a resume..
I HATE FR ENCH :fire: :fire: :fire:

yeah the thing is with him is that he's newer and he wants more players to go with him and he thinks that getting more money for them is going to attract more players, in some instanstes thats true, but he also may loose intrest in player wanting to go with him because he is to afraid of not getting the right deal that he blows too much time and the players are not in camp for a long time, this may make soem players go with more experienced guys that get them the deal they want but also do not take that long of time, this guy is hurting himself badly by doing this in my opinion

I don't buy it. Teams lower than the Browns might burn him, but I don't see the Browns doing it at all. They're the team least likely to coddle a draft pick if you ask me just because of what they have gone through with KW.
