The first NBCSportsTalk on the newly christened NBC Sports Network had a juicy nugget in the first five minutes.
Peter King reported that Jeff Fisher will interview for the Rams head coaching job this week.
It’s believed that Fisher wants to go to a place with a quarterback in place. St. Louis certainly qualifies. Fisher has close ties to the Rams.
Fisher’s agent is Marvin Demoff, the father of Kevin Demoff, Rams COO and Executive Vice President of Football Operations.

While the Rams are interviewing Jeff Fisher, were interviewing a stupid special teams coach from the bears, cool, I'm glad the genius jeff ireland is conducting this search!

Its as many have said, we are not a choice destination for the big name coaches, or even the 2nd tier coaches. We have become the new Detroit Lions.

What would Fisher want? To work under Ireland or help pick the next GM for the Rams? Heck, maybe even BE the GM!

I know. The Ravens really regret hiring that stupid special teams coach from Philadelphia, I think his name was John Harbaugh or something like that.

hiring assistants does not work for us we tried it with cameron and sparano, we should have done what the rams did and fire both gm and coach, ireland wants to hire some no name bum so he can stay in control and nobody will blame him for his poor drafting and personnel moves, the reason harbaugh worked in Baltimore is because that franchise has structure from top to bottom, but not here my friend, does ozzie newsome fly across county and interview other coaches behind his current coaches back? no i don't think so.

What ever, he's a good coach but if he doesn't want to be here I don't want to have him. Luring him with money is just plain wrong especially if his heart is not in it, look at Saban.

I want to wait out the weekend. If the Bengals lose they have two candidates at OC and DC both being very good candidates for the job.

Do you expect us to interview one guy then make our choice? Even if we did interview Fisher, we'd still be interviewing every other candidate on the list. I certainly wouldn't expect Fisher to interview for one job only. He'll make his little tour. The dust is far from settled.

once again, we're getting Billick.....Im gonna keep posting this til this is understood

Exactly. The overreaction by some here is pathetic.
