Yup, 29. Right below the Panthers and 5 and 6 spots below the Bills and Seahawks respectively. What a disgrace. Did we not go 7-9 last year? Interestingly, the number one team is the Packers - a team we beat, and, a team we basically beat and a team we nearly beat twice - the Steelers and Jets - are in the top 6. I really can't wait to see all these "experts" eat crow after we win week one. Then again, if we do win, I bet the story will be of how the Patriots are falling off.
 
29. Dolphins: The owner wanted Jim Harbaugh, but settled for Tony Sparano. Sparano wanted Kyle Orton, but settled for Chad Henne. The fans want the Heat, but may have to settle for the Dolphins.

I wonder what will happen if we beat the Pats. Most people have them in the top 5 and us in the 20s. It will show how truly worthless power rankings are because I doubt anyone would move us ahead of them, even though we would have just beaten them...
 
The constant unwarranted disrespect is sickening. This team is much closer to a playoff team than the league's worst team. Using Harbaugh and Henne as the constant excuse for why they think the team will be bad just shows that these guys don't do real research.
 
the good thing about power rankings is that they change and it dont matter where you are at the start of the season its near the end that matters most! lets be top 5 week 17
 
We gotta be realistic. Our offense is an unproven commodity. Our D is Top 5, but they're not tasked with scoring points, so until our O proves it on the field when it counts, people are going to bottom us out.

And with all the drama we've had, I think that's fair.
 
i know, i know, everyone says who cares what the media says, etc, and while that is true it reallly is irrelevant what they say, to have us 29th ranked is a disgrace.

last season, we went 7-9. that 7-9 record was with an offense that basically hit rock bottom in terms of production and predictability, an offense that got basically zero production from our qb, zero run game production, a banged up marshall, and a defense, that while it was good, it was still not elite compared to what we are expecting from it this season. with all that, we still went 7-9, which is not anything to write home about, but is far from being ranked as a top 5 worst team in the nfl.

this year, our offense can only improve, as it should, our defense is ready to take the next step, and we will be a lot better. either way, even if that does not happen, the fact that with all the things that happened last year and yet we still finished 7-9, i do not see how now we are going to be a bottom 5 team when we can only go up, not down.

some people should not be allowed to write.

They clearly no nothing. We just came off a 1-15 season, remember guys? "Is that Camarillo guy still down there in Miami?" Ted Ginn is our best receiver!

They've been trash talking us this whole time. Surprised we aren't #32.
 
29!!! :sidelol: I love it.. i just cant wait for the season to start. if henne fails i see another 7-9 but if he does good then they can compete for the playoffs but i guess we are going to do worse then these other garbage teams pfft..
 
Damn 29th??? Everyone knows you cant win the BCS is you dont start in the top 25 ugh season ruined
 
PFT is a joke. Another site who's writers are untalented, unknowledgeable idiots. Really, it's good for breakings news, but skip all of the opinion and analysis portions of the articles.
