PFT ranks us 29th

probably right now at least belong somewhere in the 20's but 29 seems a little nuts...

Us against the world, lets do this..........

I'd have them above: Bengals, Redskins, Broncos, Panthers, Titans, Bills, 49ers, Seahawks, Raiders and Jaguars

They're in the pack with the Vikings and Rams at around 20.

Well to be honest the Dolphins were 10 yds and a 2 pt conversion away from tying the Jets in week 3, the game I was in attendance for. It isn't like they got their ***** kicked.

Did they try to acquire Orton? Reports said an offer was never made. How you can not make an offer yet still get pegged as trying to get him is beyond me.

That's 10 long yds and then having to convert a 2 pt conversion. They weren't a missed kick away or one dropped pass.

Miami tried to acquire orton, we all know this and the tried to hire Harbaugh.

OMG- that list is funny....they list the Jags at 19 lol....they have 35 milion in cap space and Luke McCown as starting QB which means they have no players......and they rank them 19? Did anyone over there look at the Jags schedule? They play in the south so on top of Indy, Houston and Tenn twice they play..Jets, Pitt. Balt, ATL, TB, NO and SD the way I see it thats 13 losses right there, the other 3 teams are Cinn, Car and the Browns......after the boneheaded move they made yesterday they are my team who will win the Luck sweepstakes....

A team that was a bogus larcenous homer ref call away from .500, took 6 of 8 on the road including beating the eventual SB champs (who surged through the POs with nearly the same injury-deciminated roster), defensive upgrades and experiential seasoning to an already near-elite unit, a versatile multi-threat playmaker added to an offense that isn't being predictably called by a fossil whose Senior Prom Date was Betty White and a QB whose off season dedication to become more mobile and elusive seems to have worked... all say at worst "middle of the pack" until proven better."

Sorry but this kind of piling that's spreading like Herpes by talking heads, shyster lawyers and GameTime armchair morons with likely Terrell Pryor/Vince Young scale Wonderlics is beyond the realm of ridiculous

Miami had the ball w/ plenty of time against Pitt needing only a FG, they failed.

6 of 8 on the road but ONE of 8 at HOME.

do you guys not underastand the dolphins have major question amrks heading into '11? It could all turn up positive and you could be a playoff contender but that really isn't likely.

I wonder what will happen if we beat the Pats. Most people have them in the top 5 and us in the 20s. It will show how truly worthless power rankings are because I doubt anyone would move us ahead of them, even though we would have just beaten them...
They'll call it a fluke. Lucky win. Pats weren't focused. Bill Belichick is still tinkering with the 4-3 and hasn't got it fully installed.

Whatever the reason they wouldn't give us any credit for the win I can guarantee that.

Yep, it's a big conspiracy by the media to keep he dolphins down no matter what.

its not a boneheaded move to release garrard and save $9 mil...at least not for the owner its not...garrards not good enough to make big difference for them anyways...they should just roll with gabbert the second half of the season...although this move doesn't bode well for del rios chances of sticking...

i agree though i would definitely put us over jacksonville in power rankings even coming off of last season...then again though if manning misses a lot of time that could be two wins in the division for them...the colts are gonna stink it up if manning doesn't get back and in a hurry...the wheels are about to fall off over there without manning

sure looks like with them bringing in phillips to run the d this is the texans year to get over the hump in that division...if they don't there's no one to blame but themselves...cause its right there on a pladder for them

The pieces are in place for a collapse but I wouldn't count on it. There are a handful of poor teams in the NFL I'd rate below the Dolphins for sure at this point. I think the Dolphins had an OK preseason which is really good considering how negative things were going in. As mad as we get at Henne I think he has earned the spot as starter this off season. That's a lot better than if he continued to play poorly all preseason and was handed him the spot over Moore anyway. I'm mad we didn't bring in better competition at QB position but of the guys that were there Henne is the most ready to start.

I really don't know how this will turn out. I'm not suprised by either a playoff spot or total collapse. They have come up on the wrong side of .500 twice already so I think they should be ranked a little below the middle of the pack.

Dolfans ... Wake up...

You guys have been dissing the entire organization (Front Office, Coach, QB, RB, TE, Defense, Fight song, etc...) You are giving this team a bad vibe instead of supporting this team.. And, did you expect the media to go easy on us??? Why get mad when you bash the entire Dolphins organization?

Don't you have better things to do?

You hanging around here would be like me hanging around an ex girlfriends house.

Thats a good point when people act dumb and boo at practice and then get all up in arms when we get picked close to the bottom really have nothing to complain about.
