The Dolphins deserve kudos for turning their QB depth from mediocre at best to potentially exceptional, all in one offseason.
By trading for Daunte Culpepper and Joey Harrington, the Dolphins have added two veteran signalcallers with extensive starting experience. There are obviously big questions for both players, but the upside for both seems to be worth the risk.

Good read

Side note---its ashame the Jets got Brad Smith. I have a feeling hes going to be giving us fits for years.

Did you guys read the other article by him at the bottom (about Saban)? This guy has just become my favorite. Thanks for the read pal. You can't help but feel this season is going to be something else..... and this is Saban's 2nd year folks......SECOND YEAR!!!!!!!!!!!

No problem, glad you liked it.

However, the jury’s still out on J.P. Losman as a starter, and the Bills’ choice for QB of the future may turn out to have been a misguided one.
Hey, at least he's a master of the obvious.:goof::biggrin:

Also, he might want to think about changing that photo, but I can't fault what he wrote.

Let’s be honest, if Brady goes down for a long period of time, the Patriots are more than likely screwed for the rest of the season. That would’ve been the case even if Flutie (whose arm strength had waned in recent years) had stuck around, and it will be the case for whichever veteran signalcaller the Pats choose to bring in. And they will bring in a vet — in Belichick’s six years in New England, he has always had a veteran quarterback in reserve.
Just one question here, though...
if that's so, then how did Brady get any playing time when Bledsoe went down? Or am I missing something here?
