interesting take on saban. Its weird that it has this heavy negative tone but in the end I come away quite confident that next year is going to be fun. My one concern is his relationship with Mueller and whether they are going to be able to bring in the talent we need

As one person who has known Saban for nearly two decades told PFW, this whole scenario is nothing new. “Initially he comes in and there’s a surge — his first year at MSU, they beat Michigan. … Then there’s a negative reaction to him — he doesn’t wear well. Then he (gets rid of) those people and … brings in more of his kind of people.”
With 19 players unsigned beyond this season and plenty of cap space anticipated to be available, Saban does not appear destined for a Spurrier-like exit after his second year, but a major overhaul of the roster — both players and coaches — could be in the offing this offseason.
