Yes he did, but the writer's point is way off. They did absolutely gut the roster. That's when you call it when well over 50% of the guys that were on the roster a year ago are no longer part of the program. And, of the guys that survived, some more got jettisoned this year (Goodman, Hill, Satele, etc).

The only planned starters for 2009 that were playing in 2007 are Vernon Carey, Ted Ginn, Joey Porter, Channing Crowder, Matt Roth and Will Allen. That means 75% of the starting roster are players that never got to play under Cameron.

very true CK. They kept the few great players and replaced the rest of the team w parcell type players.

Not a great read but a dolphins read none the less.

You forgot Bell, but yeah I see your point and agree. The most interesting part of the article is the last line which states what I have been saying since day one. Ginn may have some talent, he may be able to stretch the field, he can even change games from time to time, but most important thing is he is not a Parcells type of guy. This is the reason I think there was some actual realistic dialogue between us and the cards for Aquan. Aquan is tough, big, and if we could trade Ginn and a #2 & #4 it will still get done. I still think we have a shot at getting Aquan, JMO. Even if we don't make that trade I think Ginn will be moved for another player before the start of 2010.

but Ginn appears to be a Sparano type of guy though, and I think that will weigh more when this rebuilding process is over.

i agree.. even if ireland wouldnt of used the 9th pick in the draft on him, i dont think they mind having the speed on the team

He's got world class speed, that's something you can't coach.

I still think that he might find himself in a Raven's uniform next year if he doesn't stop some of those wacky plays he had last year...

Ginn's not going anywhere until his rookie contract is done. Don't think TunaCo doesn't like speed. Ginn's got speed and hands. His cap hit isn't that bad.
