Phanatical's plan to make playoffs this year:

Don't see us going better than 3-3 in our division, and that means we'd have to go 8-2 outside of it to finish 11-5 and make the playoffs.

No effing way.

Quick glance over the schedule, I see seven losses already.

It's impossible to be sure right now, though.

I'd have to see when we're playing who.

The other teams in the division have improved before the draft while we went backwards. Now we're counting on one draft to make up for a lot of mistakes, forgetting that the other teams get to draft, also. Philbin is a big upgrade at HC, but I don't see him pulling a Harbaugh his first year on the job.

Miami will be lucky to win 2 in the division.

If you think watching the Ireland fail miserably during free agency sucks then just imagine how the players and coaches feel while other teams are at least attempting to make their teams better. It's as if they're being set up for failure. As of right now, this very second, the players are down on the management and if management doesn't do something that makes sense to the players it will affect how they train how they practice and how they play.

The way I see it, we are basically the same team as last year less Marshall with what would have to be better coaching (it couldn't get any worse) and a better QB than what started the year. I don't get all the doom and gloom.

Moore starts we go 4-12

Garrard starts we go 4-12

Brian Hartline leads the way!

Not all, just 2 or 3 (primarily QB, WR or DE). Every other position has a veteran option as backup. He did same thing last year, get 1 big name signed to a substantial but workable deal, few veterans, and drafted for BPA that fits needs. He's more or less getting away from the huge money guys like Dansby and Marshall from the Parcel years.

Exactly.

Actually, i think that is a pretty good assessment. Here is the breakdown so far:
Philbin > Sparano

Garrard > Henne
Hicks > Columbo
Messam > Hilliard
Westerman = Langford
R. Marshall > W. Allen

? - J. Taylor
? - Y. Bell
? - B. Marshall

I just don't know how they are going to replace B. Marshall, that's a big void to fill. Taylor wasn't that productive. Bell was a beast in run support. So, three spots left to fill and there are still some players out there.

GO PHINS~!
