Sorry, if someone posted this recently, but I thought it was great to hear his comment about Jake. He said that he thinks Jake will be a pro-bowl LEFT TACKLE for the next 10 yrs. or so... :up: I know his opinion is well respected here and around the league. He drafted J. Thomas, both big 10 guys.:up:

get more laughable each day.
now, first off, joe thomas has PROVEN he can play at a hi
level [for now] in the nfl. we have to wait on the quake.
jake gave up 2 sacks and 2 penalties in 4 years which was
better than joe thomas in college.
so what does that say about the feet issue? it says that
even IF the quake does have feet issues, it sure hasnt
hurt him and he still out performed mr feet, joe thomas!!
one sack to gholston [and 1 only] and he cant pass protect.
people are acting like gholston is the ONLY speed rusher he
faced in 4 years of college ball. its just plain rediculous!!
EARTHQUAKE JAKE was a good pic, it covered need and arguably
best player available. plus, he fits the trifecta scheme of huge,
strong lt's. and the money. lt is one of the PRIME positions in
the draft, qb, lt, pass rucking de, so the money paid out, in this
nfl market, is just because of the position.
and it is bargain for sure!! the trifecta did an exellent job of
not letting this players agent take them to the cleaners. and
i am sure the other teams owners are glad that bill and company
didnt match or beat the raiders price to russell and can use
that for future drafts.
the owners bawked at the jamarcus russell deal and were getting
real worried at the price exelleration. bill plugged the hole with
this deal at least or the short term.
