Phil Simms really likes the Dolphins this week (video included)

I've always respected Sims a lot, he's a smart analyst who really knows what he's talking about. Sapp and Collinsworth a idiots who really don't know what's going on.

Collinsworth mentions how Eli Manning missed 6 easy TD passes in the game versus the Saints last week (maybe Henne and the Fins studied that ?):

That's because Collinsworth is an idiot. Eli missed one pass on third down, when he was pressured. I have no idea what other throws he's referring to. Greer made a great play on a downfield pass. Porter made a great play. And Greer picked off another pass. Collinsworth is probably just assuming that if a WR is one on one with a Saints' defender, it should be caught for a touchdown.

He did fail to mention that Sharper had a pick six called back for roughing the passer and that Sharper had another ball in his hands, taken away by Mario Manningham for a TD.

As for Simms, to me it seems like he's very angry that the Giants got beat down so badly. They didn't give an ounce of credit to the Saints at all.

Well he rewatched the game tape so I'm sure he saw stuff that other fans wouldn't.

I watched the game again on Tivo and saw two deep throws where Eli missed open guys, and one was under pressure. Brees also missed one fairly easy throw that would have been a TD or a big gainer.

I have no idea where Simms gets off saying that the Giants would beat the Saints if they played again this week. Based on what evidence, Phil? It wasn't even close. Nor was it the last time Brees and the Saints played the Giants in the Meadowlands. That time the Giants got beat 30-7, meaning that the last two times Brees has faced Eli and the Gmen, he's doubled them up. The bias and rampant homer-ism of some so-called objective analysts is shocking. I think Simms is one of the best color guys in the game, but you've got to be kidding me with that crap.

Simms is a jerk. He was very obviously upset that the Giants (his former team) lost and was making all manner of excuses for them. He even said that if they played again, the Giants would certainly win. Amateurish and very disrespectful from someone in his position.

Lol - Sapp picked us to go to the SuperBowl this year

I've been waiting for someone to comment on this. I was giving the typical finheaven to the media sarcasm. Like in 02 when Prisco stuck with the jets to win the East. He was an idiot, pete the prick I believe, for 16 weeks but guess what? In week 17 he was right. Guess how many Prisco was right threads there were? ZERO.

I could care less what the so called experts say. Their opinions are not much better than ours (I have 51 wins with the spread this year). Not great but better or competitive with many experts and I pick us every week.
