I have been a pretty good supporter of Philbin and Tannehill, but after reading Philbins recent comments about being "queasy" about playing to win on Sunday, I have no confidence in Philbin. What coach publicly states his distrust in his team the way he did. He did not have to say that as a response for his play calling even if it was the actual reason. How the hell does he inspire anyone at this point. To me this is coaching 101, display an outward trust in your team! Don't public state that you were afraid of your offense. Even if the outcome was the same and they played it safe or were aggressive, he could at Ideation instill his trust in the players. He could say I had confidence in our run game or pass game that's why I did what I did. Instead he looks stupid to the media, players and fans. He seems to be in way over his head as a head coach, it sounds as though even Lazor is calling him out.
8-3 or 7-4 finish I just don't see. I think Thill would be a productive QB with a different coach. I think he may be salvaged. Philbin tho? I don't think so. I hope I'm wrong but I think the locker room is close to or already lost, and out misery as fin fans will continue. I hope this team can prove me wrong.

i was in Philbin's defense for a long time...until the nonsense before the Raiders game with Tannehill. he is in over his head, the sooner we replace him the better.

I would have to agree......have stood behind Philbin up to the last few weeks, but I have seen enough.

Playoffs or not, we will need to make a change to get us to the next level.

This weekend was the final straw for me. I hope our queasy coach is gone next year.

If he admits to feeling "queasy" You can probably x that by 5 about how scared he most likely was. His actions this past week have taken me off of the Philbin supporter list. This is season 3 for Philbin, for him to continue to be this clueless on how to manage a game, is not acceptable at this level or any level of coaching. I have to wonder what Joey "Timeout" practices and preaches all week in practice? Do they not run game time situations in practice?

Its time for Joe to be shown the door even if he does manage to somehow pull out a .500 season
