Has anyone ever wondered why the GB Packers went 15-1 and then got beat in the playoffs by the Giants while Philbin was out for his sons death?
I wouldnt worry about the detail being a problem. He built the gameplan every week and the best part of Philbin is he adjusts at halftime.
In other words, when we are up 17-0 at halftime, Philbin wont rest on his laurels thinking he has the game in bag. He knows the other side will change and he will change the offense again in order to keep the peddle on the gas.

My understanding is Philbin was back for the Giants game, but the mood of the team was pretty somber surrounding the events that occurred. They played like it. If Rodgers wasn't missing WRs wide open then WRs were dropping balls that were typically caught all year long. That game didn't have to do with game plan, but uncharacteristically poor execution by the Packers.
