Philbin interested in Sherman, McAdoo for OC

Dolphins coach Joe Philbin has expressed interest in former Packers coach Mike Sherman for the team’s offensive coordinator job, a league source said Monday.
That’s not a surprise — when Sherman was Green Bay’s coach, he gave Philbin his first NFL coaching job, in 2003. The men are friends.
But Sherman is a candidate for the Tampa Bay head coaching job and is expected to wait on a decision from the Buccaneers before deciding his next move.
Sherman was 57-39 as Packers coach (2000-05) and 25-25 as Texas A&M’s coach the past four years before his firing last month.
The Dolphins also have expressed interest in Packers tight ends coach Ben McAdoo. He would be an option for offensive coordinator if Sherman doesn’t take the job. The Dolphins have not parted ways with incumbent offensive coordinator Brian Daboll, but Philbin clearly is pursuing other options.

Just let go of Daboll. Please just end it an install you're own philosophies!
 
IDK only because I liked the new addition of chunk yardage plays.

Although it could have been the change at QB but I seem to recall Henne doing better in that area before his injury.
 
I think we have to get rid of Daboll even though I do feel bad for him lol.  The guy didn't do a bad job with what he had to work with but he probably has stone age philosophies compared to our boy philbin
 
Daboll will end up on his feet. He did some good things this year and probably deserves better.

However, Joe needs to fit his staff to what he wants and that means Daboll is out.
 
I am really pulling for Mike Sherman. I think his play calling experience would go a long way. Wondering who are the other coaches in play for tampa other then sherman? I hope tampa hires someone other then Sherman.....
 
McAdoo is very young. Not sure he is ready. Posted his bio in another thread. Talk about young and hungry.
 
bring in all the packer assistants, the cowboy ones didn't work
 
Amazing last year Henning had the 21st ranked offense and people want to run him out of town saying anybody is an upgrade. Daboll then ranks lower (22) and has less yards on offense and people act like he did such a good job.
