Philbin is a brutal head coach.

The coach relies on the booth to buzz down to him to throw the flag. Notice how we didn't punt until about 5 seconds on the clock? Philbin was waiting for the guys upstairs to tell him to throw the flag. You don't just blindly wastes challenges.

And sometimes if the booth doesn't get a good look at a replay, you're the head coach and you need to make a decision. He obviously thought it was close because he was holding the red flag. Make a decision. It was too close and too big of a play to sit back and not review it.

How Philbin went from 3-0 to on the hot seat so fast is nuts.

I'm all for cleaning house. I'm fine with Ireland cause there is talent on this team but its just not coached correctly. This offense showed what it could do in the first half then they let the foot off the gas and got completely out coached and this defense is stacked how are we not dominating on that side of the ball?

This is pretty much the only type of game that could have changed my mind about Philbin who I liked for the most part. Miami's last 4 head coaches have had no prior NFL head coaching experience. That approach is obviously not working for them, I think they need to hire a coach with prior NFL coaching success at this point. Given what Andy Reid has done in KC, I'm starting to think Gruden is intriguing. Oh well, same old Dolphins.

philbin has zero flexibility in the sense that he sticks with the same players and same game plan and doesn't venture out. why is Dion Jordan on the sideline more than half the game? why do we constantly go shotgun? why is Daniel Thomas getting the same or more carries than miller? why did it take so long to do something about clabo? no adjustments are made.

The team is young and still coming together. Another off season we will be that much better. A lot of good young talent. That being said. A new coaching staff would be nice. I still believe in him but i dont think ross does.

I've lost any faith in this guy and his entire staff. I mean there were some terrible calls that went against his team , but still they folded in the second half. That falls squarely on Philbin's head.

That sums it up IMHO. They had to have know that NE was going to come out a different team and they did NOTHING to match up. With a second year QB the leadership has to come from the sideline and that sideline has nothing.

Time for a change.

I knew the game was lost right before halftime. You are driving down the field and have 3 timeouts and then you let up and burn time to get a field goal??? Goods teams go for the jugular and step on there opponents. Do you this NE would have sat on the ball if they were in scoring position? They would have taken their shots. God 90% of the teams do. Not us, we are conservative. We run the ball down their throats and then pass more? I never liked the Philbin hire but wanted to give it a chance. As a fan for over 40 years to see this is sickening. I try to tell my kids how we were once dominant. Unfortunately I do not see that happening anytime in the near future. i want to believe but just can't. It is like a bad accident, you don't want to look but you can't help yourself and watch!. I was disgusted last week losing to an inferior Bills team but at least they put up a fight this week. We got a lead and then played not to lose. The only thing I respect of Belicheat is that he tries to score every time he gets the ball. We play not to lose. You will start to see the mutiny soon, I think Wake will be one of the first followed by the rest of the defense. Oh, and Coyle. You suck too!
