Philbin is dead man walking

Philbin wasn't even the Packer's OC, he was like the OC in name only since on game day the HC would call the plays. When bullets were flying they didn't trust him, someone else did it. He was like what he is, a person that watches tape and gives insight into the coming week but lets the big boys do the real work. That's why he came so prepared when he was interviewed, because his whole job was to prepare reports for the Packers, basically. It shows now how much he was in over his head.

Wanny, Saban, Cameron, Sparano and now Philbin. All of them have been a joke.

If that happens I will :puke:

It's sad when Wanny is actually the best of a group.

Poor coaching . Horrible clock management. Pretty one sided officiating too. Anyone ever heard an interference with coaches and refs? Only the Dolphins The team did not have any emotion early on.No bounce in their step.Just another paycheck. Cant block ,cant tackle and to think these guys get paid to do this. I would get fired if I failed to do my job. I dont think Philbin can fix this epic failure.. HAD TO VENT...... AGAIN

When your team is bad in all three phases, the head coach needs to be accountable.

Don't know what Marino is going to bring to the table, but now is a good time for him to start getting in Ross's ear...

Every year is cruel joke when we discover that the best Coach/QB combo since Dan hung them up was Wannstache/Feidler. Wow.

Only reason Wannstedt had any success was because of the players Jimmy Johnson drafted. Those teams were carried by the defense.

I hate to say it, but I think he was a better game manager than Philbin. Im not saying he was good. Im saying Philbin is about the worst I've ever seen.

I've been telling you guys for awhile that there have been some very concerning leadership issues with Philbin. The most obvious was him being MIA during the Martin-Richie mess. Any leader who is so disengaged and so distant from his players and coaches that he doesn't have a clue what was happening in the locker room, and no one came to him, coaches or players, is very very revealing. Then we hear that he systematically cut loose all the vocal players players/leaders on the so-called leadership team is another very concerning fact about Philbin's style of stiffling dissent in the organization. Then we hear that two starters, one the #3 player in last years draft, are suspended for PED use. I could go on and on and on, but the players on this team don't care about this cold, robotic coach, who has totally failed to connect to this team and to it's fans. He is Ross's choice and Ross is ultimately responsible to fix it.

I'm just totally devastated what has happened to this once-proud franchise that I grew up cheering for as a child. The only redeeming things left are our new GM and Dan Marino, and some former players like Jason Taylor and Zach Thomas. I hope this group can work with this clueless owner to clean house and bring in a proven NFL coach who can connect with the players and the fans and restore the franchise to something we can all be proud of again.

We jus got pummelled by a team at home, missing like 8 starters, including it's best player. We were never in it. Totally unacceptable.

At least sparano could motivate his players and everyone liked him. He was an awful strategic coach though. Philbin is awful at both aspects of coaching. Hoping he gets fired mid season although very unlikely. We always manage to win just enough to keep coaches around wayyyy too long.

And by Ricky Williams. He was a beast, and he made it possible for dumbo ears to be successful.

Fire Philbin and let Lazor coach this team. Why not?

Please...remember how long it takes Ross to fire people? Ireland was here forever. So was Sparano. At the very LEAST Philbin will be given until the end of the year...and I won't be surprised if he gets another year.

This team won't win until Ross sells.

You are right. Nothing will change until Ross sells. Dude is no owner. Philbin is no coach, and we have a Wide Receiver who can't run playing QB. Did you see Dalton catch a TD today?
