Joe Philbin says he's not worried about his job security. And he's not worried about Kevin Coyle's job security because he has final say over whether the Dolphins keep or fire their defensive coordinator.
And Philbin says he's not firing Coyle.

As to his own status, Philbin isn't too worried, even following Sunday 27-14 loss to the New York Jets -- a game that sinks Miami's record to 1-3 and puts them deeper in the AFC East cellar.

"No, not at all," the coach said when he was asked about his job security. "I'm worried about getting this team straightened out, fixed and getting this team ready to play the Tennessee Titans."

The Dolphins play the Titans after the bye week. So Coyle survives the bye week?

"Kevin Coyle is our defensive coordinator," he said.

I asked him if he plans to keep it that way?

"Yeah," Philbin said.

Go **** yourself Joe Philbin you're ****ing clueless ass don't deserve to last the night as our coach.

Philbin " We as a coaching staff suck at our jobs but I don't give a **** because Mr Ross is here to ruin your favorite team"

I wonder just how bad of a coach you'd have to be to get fired by Joe. Seems like as long as you're cool with him, your job security is rock-solid.

What else is he gonna say? "Man Kevin Coyle sucks ass and he's gone as soon as we land in Miami"

He can't say that kind of thing.

Hmmmm.......this is exactly what I would expect Joe to say. However, lets see what happens. I would fully expect a change to be made.

How is it possible this guy still has a job in this league?? Someone please tell me.

Philbin is more stubborn than stupid if that is possible. Moron. That seals it for me. Philbin is going to poke the fans in the eye too.
Fine. Run together a string of losses. The fans do not have to support that.
When Ross hears the home stadiums fans rocking for the opposing team, and booing the home team, the blame is squarely on him.

Well, the biggest barrier to firing these buffoons is who exactly you promote to interim. There isn't a single coach on this team who has shown ANYTHING, and you can't make Jarvis Landry the head coach. Bill Lazor had the most chance, but he's **** that away with quite possibly the ugliest possible playcalling in the history of the NFL.

Even amidst this dumpster fire, a promotion to interim HC is a reward. There just isn't a coach that deserves it. Not to mention, I don't even think there are assistants within the staff to promote and capably fill OC, DC, and position coaches.

The logistics are very much against them for being able to pull this off. An argument can be made (and has probably been made internally) to let Philbin and this staff drive the team to a top draft pick.

Only hope is that Ross stays with the status quo, the team goes 1-15. Ross gets bored with or embarrassed enough to sell the team to someone who will be committed to hiring the right people. Then the new front office starts out with the 1st pick in the draft.

This is horrid leadership and proves he is not head coach material. True leadership means that you must make difficult personal choices at times for the good of the organization.

Joe won the lottery with Ross. He is an assistant coach operating as a HC for the past 4 years because his owner is a buffoon. Ross's other companies must have some horrendous leadership. Just a bunch of suits sucking off his teat, probably wasting all their time on dumb meetings that accomplish nothing.

Where are all the Philbin sycophants to tell us all how wrong we all are about these idiots? Or does they only attack during the off-season when there nothing real going on? They just love to with "games on paper"...they aren't so hot at winning on the field.

Haha, yup. Waiting for Wanny or Hayden to come in and say it, the beloved "Continuity" lol
