Philbin needs to stay.

Guys I know after a loss half the fans are ready to jump ship, but we're close. Very close. Our franchise is building towards the future. If we have new coach come in. That means new GM new everything.i think we need to hold strong and build. I do not agree with some of Philbin game management. But I think he's smart enough to learn. I'm tired of rebuilding every 4 years. We have our QB of future. We have young studs all over this team. It sucks after a loss like this. We lost to a gold jacket qb. But I truly believe we're heading in right direction. So please think to yourself do you want this team ripped apart and start over again. Cause that's what happens when you bring new coach and GM in.
 
Anything less than 9-7 and I disagree. 8-8 or less for a team like this simply has to fall on someone. Didn't Ross pretty much imply no playoffs no Philbin next year?

Playoffs or bust for Philbin. If we do not get in, he is gone. Too much talent to keep missing out on the playoffs. He does not get another pass from me. I doubt Ross gives him another year either.

Plus a receiving threat TE, #2 receiver, and probably another guard and/or tackle because our o-line is a mess.
 
If Tannehill doesn't hit that deep ball soon, teams will limit his effectiveness, you can't ride the read option forever.

Why dont you realize Philbin is the reason this team cannot close games. This teasm is talented enough to make a deep playoff run, but the HC isnt, he's the real only thing holding this team back. Dude needs to go.

Agreed. Ive said the same thing a number of times.
 
NOPE, you are wrong OP. Philbin is gone if we miss the playoffs. Too much time and he hasn't made the playoffs once.

And he is still making rookie HC mistakes. He offers absolutely no value at all. Loks like a deer in headlights every week. Even when we win.
 
There is no discussion of Philbin being on the hot seat anywhere except in here. Like it or not he's coming back.
