That is a very good question. IMO, the answer is yes if we are going to run a hybrid 4-3, 3-4. It is going to be interesting to see how this plays out. Solai's price tag may be too high for what will be expected him in a hybrid defense.

As big a fan as I am of Swiss Army Knife players, I believe fundamentaly in the 4-3 defense.

But I see some people are saying Upshaw won't fit in a 4-3 defense. I'm curious is to how? You don't think he would be a good fit for a 4-3 DE?

I think they'll run a hybrid scheme this year, and then transition into the 4-3 fulltime as the team's base defense.

I love the fact the Philbin is very open minded....TS was going to run it and run it and play a 3-4 no matter if it was working or not.....Philbin is and will be different. What a breath of fresh air.
