Philbin is smart to give that kind of noncommittal comment. Keep the competition going. If he says that MM, DG, or RT is the starter, the other guys will just accept a different mindset. Ross saying MM will be the starter was stupid and he should let the coach do all the talking IMHO.
This will not be settled until the 3rd preseason game.

Whats the rush ? Let them all compete and we will have a starter by the 3rd preseason game.
Also let's get our O line in good shape before we even consider starting a rookie.

No I don't know what Tannehill is going to do, and neither do you. That's my whole point. Having a tremendous question mark at QB is not a positive thing. Especially a tremendous question mark that choked tremendous dick against the likes of Texas and Oklahoma. The only unbelievable aspect of this conversation is the fact that you like a quarterback who completed 40% of his passes in the biggest game of his career. That's atrocious pal. I have a feeling that you won't be laughing about that subject after this season. Beware 12/16/12, Chad Henne's revenge. Remember when Culpepper came back and played us when he was on the Raiders??? Ugh.

Good call. Culpepper had a great revenge game on us. I believe it was five touchdowns he scored. But even with that revenge game, he showed over and over again that he was a sh-tty quarterback and the Dolphins were right to jettison him. I could see Henne doing something similar. For one game Chad will end up on the field, playing, and actually playing well. Then the rest of the games he'll be the sh-tty quarterback he really is, and continue his sh-tty career, and be known as a backup who couldn't cut it as a starter.

I like how Moore finished the year but he seems small to me or lacking in strength. His fumbles seem to add credence to this. Garrard is stout and he's tough so I'd like to see what he does in Pre-season before judging him. I think if Tanny starts, we go 6-10 or 7-9 with the rookie coach and QB.

I do think we can make the playoffs with Moore or Garrard starting as long as we do not turn the ball over, AND our defense can create turnovers.

John Beck, Cleo Lemon, Ray Lucas, Par White or any ****ty QB who has played for Miami since Marino retired could have had their revenge game against us in a Raiders uniform on that day. First off the 2007 fins were pathetic, second the Raiders were running on us at will, there are probably finheaven members who could have had a big day.
