Philbin trading marshall

Marshall is undoubtedly a very good player, but maybe not the best fit for the Fins as they transition into a new offense. I think that the real reason he was moved was because he was undermining the QBs whenever he didn't get his way.

This. Has anyone here ever had to work with a whiny little bitch that thought they were better than everyone else? I have and it made me not want to go into work.....and I love what I do. Marshall is that whiny little bitch that everyone rolls their eyes at when he walks away.

Cut the "dead wood"? Brandon Marshall is "dead wood"? He was the only halfway productive player on our offense... You know what? This isn't worth arguing.
Its really unbelievable, the verbal diahrea that you read on this board.
Reggie Bush?

He still had more yards and TDs than the guy you claim to be "the only halfway productive player"

Ask anybody who knows anything (objectively) about football who is better at their position, Brandon Marshall or Reggie Bush. Nobody will say Reggie Bush.

Considering BM was ranked 10th in yards and receptions and RB was 11th in rushing, I would say they were comparable at their respective positions in 2011
the point you are avoiding is that Brandon Marshall wasn't the only productive player on offense, in fact he wasn't even the most productive

It's amazing the blind homerism...Our WR corp sucks. period. With marshall it still sucked but it sucked less. You can't deny marshalls talent when he wants to play but he was a bitch.

Perfect example of his bitchness can be seen in the browns game. Joe hayden locks him up and in the second half marshall just stop trying. I don't want that on my football team but I also don't want to dump his potential for two measly 3rd rounders when I gave up 2 seconds to get him.

People who say his on field production won't be missed are stupid. Our only hope is if one of the NEW wrs comes on strong because what we have on the roster is barely NFL level talent.

Or t

What is diahea? Is that the pop type of model?

If you read closer, you would have noticed that I put BM under "problem child" not dead wood. I was just saying that that is what happens when a new coaching staff takes over.

BM is a loser, he caught more passes for one big reason, more passes were thrown to him.

or he was the only one who could even get close to being open.

Thursday Marshall brought to work a box of tiny action figures depicting himself, No. 19 in an aqua Dolphins uniform, catching a pass and heading off to some unseen horizon. He made sure to place one of them in Henne's locker, saying to Chad, "This is so every time you come over here, you remember to throw me the ball."

Funny stuff, and Henne responded in kind, saying, "Yeah, but you gotta be sure you catch the ball."

Against the Texans, 11 balls were thrown Marshall's way, which is two more chances than Houston superstar Andre Johnson got. Look at the catches, though - six for Marshall and seven for Johnson.

"I'm not the best receiver. I don't have the best hands, but I put myself up against any receiver in the league. I try my best to take it to the house every time I touch it."

Nobody gets touchdowns on every touch. That's for magicians. That's for action figures.

why are we still crying over mashall? His former teammates certainly aren't.

I'm not crying over brandon marshall. but I'm doubting profusely we have any WR's who come close to his production this year. it'd be a nice surprise if I was wrong though, and a welcome surprise.
