Philbin won't commit to starting Tannehill against oakland in press conference.

Is it crazy that I'd rather have Lazor coaching this team the rest of the season? I trust him way more than Philbin at this point...

Tanne starts but if they lay a goose egg in the first half, I believe Moore will be playing 2nd half. I don't think Moore is the savior but, at this point, they probably still believe they can salvage something from this season. Personally, I really don't care who's in there right now. There are many, many issues with the team that will come back to kill us eventually. That's what happens to mediocre teams and that's what Miami is.

I doubt there is any chance that RT doesn't start this week but there's a good chance that they'll reset with Moore after the bye if we drop another game. I think it would be a mistake but owners and coaches are not immune to pressure from their paying customers. At the least it will finally put a stake through the idea that Mat Moore is our only chance to salvage the season. Hate RT as much as you want as a QB but we have a LOT of other holes on this team and rearranging the deck chairs does nothing at this point but keep the torches and pitchfork mob away for a few more weeks.

Someones day just got made...

Looking at you WV....

:chuckle:

if this isn't a wake up call for tanne, then nothing will be.

if he doesn't ball out in London, then he's proven his full worth as a qb.

if i were him i'd go down slinging it.

right call...make tanny sweat it after yesterdays performance...should send the same message to the starting safeties...absolutely awful tackling from that group yesterday...jimmy wilsons killing us with his tackling back there...overrunning things and just sticking a token arm out diving from poor angles trying to put a shoulder into guys instead of wrapping up...nickel corner trying to play a safety...delmas didnt see half of what he dove at either...

Philbin couldn't motivate a fat kid to eat at Baskin-Robbins.

And that is going to be the problem. Tanny will light up the crappy raiders and keep his job safe for another 4 starts.

It's about that time to rise up have a win to keep the inconsistency level even with the last depressing 12 years.....

Lets win a couple of games to get everyone excited again and then go back to the normal tanking we always go through...... Expectation level is almost all gone....I'm not sure this team is even able to have the ups and downs it used to....

When the majority of the fan base gets it way before the coaching Staff, you gotta figure somethings up. Be nice to have a staff that can evaluate players adequately in a productive period of time, but that doesn't seem to be one of our teams bright spots....and hasn't for years..........
As far as switching Tannekill ? who cares this teams not going to do anything this year anyway....oh ya except break a few more hearts...

Don't be so sure of that. Raiders defense.

They are giving up 158 yards on the ground. They gave NE a game yesterday.

philbin fired after bye, lazor interim coach, lets us see what needs to happen with Bill after this season

Honestly, does this really do anything at all for Tannehill one way or another? As if he wasn't already acutely aware that his performances haven't been good and that his job/career are on the line? If Tannehill needed a non-answer from his HC to motivate him, he wasn't worth crap to begin with...
