Phillip Wheeler set to play Sunday after all

speed package. thats all I want from him cus he cant cover for beans. If he misses the tackle, at least he will disrupt a rookie QB. Yes, Manuel is a rookie, he only has played 11 games.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but that's a relief. As others have said, we need everything we can get. with the injuries last week, we are too thin. If another injury happens to a LB this week, I think everybody will be glad he can suit up.

I don't know if the people complaining are just trying to be sarcastic and funny, which is fine... haha, i agree. If you are serious, you need to pull your head out of your *** and realize we need him. As bad as it sounds, we need him. Like somebody else said, if for nothing else than to keep the others fresh. Hopefully the coaches let him take it easy and use him sparingly ;)

Wheeler is the Legadu Nannee of LB's.

We all knew Legadu was garbage way before the coaches eventually cut him. This is another case of the same situation.

I'm with you guys and hope he's not back next year but as said we need bodies. When Misi gets back cut him for all I care.

I'll give Wheeler a chance with the new LB coach Duffner, before I go into full anti Wheeler mode. Duffner did a damn good job with the scrubs last week so we will see.

glad he's back and bucking it up. I'm confident that they pull him if he's not up to par. . ... or go ST soley with him.

My prediction if he plays:

1. Will continuously tackle the tough Buffalo RBs forward for 2-3 extra yards.

2. Will be seen repeatedly labor ing to keep up w Chandler over the middle.

3. 71.8% chance he clubs Manuel in the head way late after a 6 yard completion on a 3rd (or 4th) down and 19 to go play - keeping a big drive alive.
