Yup. Our O-line has held up for enough chunks of games to allow us get down the field and be #1 in redzone efficiency. I'm not saying it's perfect, or even good, but the line has been serviceable for periods of every game.
That strip sack at the end of the Bills game would have been a garbage-time non-factor if we had managed to contain Buffalo, their 4th string QB and their limping RBs. Instead our defense gave up yards in swathes to underneath throws, outside runs, screens and checkdowns. Bills turned 3-yarders into 13 yarders all game. We made it soooo easy for them to get downfield it was pathetic. The CBs were decent if not stellar, Wilson was his usual liability self, but the real gains came at the expense of our LBs and Jones. Instincts and tackling form are virtually non-existant.
Miami offense had six 3 and outs and 3 turnovers in 14 drives against Buffalo. 9 out of 14 ineffective drives against Buffalo, one of the worst pass defenses in the NFL.. Our offense against Buffalo put up the 2nd lowest total of points against their defense just ahead of the Ravens who only put up 21 points. Our offense was dreadful that game minus a few good drives. Not to mention in the 4th quarter our offense went 3 and out, Punt, Fumble, turnover on downs in 4 possessions. They had their chances to close this game out. Our offense was probably even more pathetic..
