Phins #26 on ESPN offseason rankings

We were picked to win the SB last year, or do very well. So this year we'll do well or win the Super Bowl

I'm with u man last year they say dolphins to the super bowl, so by what there saying this year we're going to be good YYYEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! thanks ESPN

I could care less about the power rankings really. They don't mean squat. ESPECIALLY at this time of year. That said, it's not unexpected or unrealistic that we are ranked so poorly.

Apparently, the folks at ESPN expect us to do worse than last year, although they write that we could be a solid team if we get Trent Green.:err:

So what, its ESPN man...The only thing they are good at doing is reporting factual news. As far as analysis goes they are at the bottom of the Barrel, and prove that to themsleves year in and year out. They couldn't analyze football if someone handed them a future sports almanac. with a crew like Golic, Wingo, Salisbury, Berman and company..they are 100 monkeys with 100 typewriters...Its too bad, I like MIchael Smith, but he is destined for crappy analysis just because of his collegues

The only ESPN guys that should be given any respect is Clayton, Jaws and Mort..But they are more reporters than analysts

All right, that means we can pretty much only go up. Unlike this past season at this time, lol.

thats good I hated it when we were favored to go SB last year, and just had a flopped year. And usually the predictions are always the other way around for us so yes this is good.

Until we get Trent Green, no poor outlook will surprise me. He provides much needed stability in a completely unstable situation with Daunte not healthy enough to even practice in this new offense and Cleo Lemon being an unknown quantity to all but the most avid Dolphins and Chargers fans.

They pretty much just based this rank off of last years records. Pretty lame as always. I was pretty shocked to see Green Bay ahead of us though, is Brett going to run the ball too???

Good, glad to see we are so low on the chart. With high expectations comes the reality of disappointment. I'd rather be the underdog. Besides, Miami is rebuilding, I don't expect them to have a great season anyway. Anyone who thinks otherwise is just fooling themselves.

Yep. That's pretty much a snapshot of the end of the season with a few exceptions here and there for teams that made big offeseason news.

But even thought it's completely meaningless, it's always interesting to see where your team stands in the eyes of the national writers.

They got Buffalo above us, they lost to many players to be better than us. Everybody predicting New England # 1 is going to jinx them. My gut feeling is our defense is going to destroy Brady in their first game, and then will be stcuk with their other QB on the roster, wait what's his name again ?

Ahhh "Power Rankings". The power of one or two guy's opinions on how good a team is. I love it

So at least if we go 5-11 this year the trolls here can't say "Well everyone picked you to be a Super Bowl team". Blah blah blah

Rankings shmankings. The most overhyped and overrated "thing" in sports. I wouldnt give a **** if we were 1st or 32nd.
