i don't believe we are really interested. brown will want a new deal and i think that's more money than we would be willing pay him. my guess would be they called us and we said if he keeps his current deal or we agree to a new one, we'll offer you something really low...either a scrub player or like a 6th rd pick. i just don't see us looking to give up that much for chris brown when we didn't want to give up much at all for m. bennett either.

I agree that we won't give up that much for him. Ricky will be back next season and then we'll have the R&R tandum that worked out great in 05'. I think we just need a patch up for now and then see how things work out this season...

Ricky didn't succeed in the CFL because he's the wrong type of back for the CFL. He isn't a speed back.

I don't agree with you. I don't think we will have a R&R tandum next year. Even if Ricky is on the team next year I think Ronnie will get 80% of the touches...or more. This is just my opinion.

I can't wait for Sept. 24 to see which Brown puts up the better numbers, Ronnie or Chris. There is still a chance I might be at that game! And my opinion is that Chris stays put atleast this season.
