i recant my earlier comment that they were not being poor sports about the loss. Initially, they were accepting the loss and gave us credit. Then this clown came along and said that we were abusing the system and putting other favors to our advantage (basically he was saying we cheated without using the word cheated).....

he is saying because we did not wear our aqua home uniforms and made them wear their dark blue, that different color of jersey made a difference in the loss today. :rofl3:

yeah right man... the color made all the difference in the world. and yes, we cheated. :)

Home team gets to pick what jersey's they wear. I guess it was the Uni's the last 6 times they came to Miami too. hehe

Yep that explains it clearly. Our defense was lights out because we were wearing white (eventhough it's after Labor Day). We won because we were the better team. We have multiple offensive weapons that can make plays, they don't have as many as they used to. Their secondary is horrible, ours is filled with vets that (for this game) knew their responsibilities.

Its not cheating, rather taking advantage of your home field. White reflects the sun so you stay cooler wearing white & dark colors absorb heat.

That is why Miami always wears white in the hot months at home.

Why are you in such denial to admit your new coaching staff exploited the rules, as they stand now, for an unfair advantage?

:nono:

When both teams have to deal with the same conditions, that's fair. But when the home team forces the visitors into their home colors, I call it blatant cheating.

:rofl3:

we would have been idiots to have worn aqua.. .then we would have cheated against ourselves :)

I remember about 5 years ago (maybe JJ days?) the staff openly talked about a study to find the difference in temperature for white vs. dark inside the helmet. If memory serves me, I think it was 10-15 degrees in September.

HAHA, as they stand now...that's funny. As they have been and always will be. They have the snow and the air in Denver....same thing. You can't see the white uni's in the snow.

Let me guess. This Einstein wanted Miami in Aqua & Denver in Blue or better yet both in white. Yea, that would work.

We always wear white jerseys for day home games and Aqua jerseys for night home games, regardless of the month. Later in the year we may combine the white jersey with Aqua pants. That is how I recall it anyway, unless we decide to wear something for one game that is different like throwbacks, Orange jerseys or all Aqua.
I think the only other team that wears white jerseys at home is Dallas. Most other teams wear their colored jerseys at home.

Cheating? No. That is one of the advantages given to the hometeam. Whose he to talk anyway? Shanahan was fined for not bringing the proper jersey to san diego because of the heat.

They just got stomped by a team that went 4-12 last year. Of course the excuses are gonna fly. Now where are all the Broncos fans that signed up here over the past week. :(
